Lemongrass is perennial in zones 9-12 but can make it through cooler winters if cut all the back and heavily mulched. Can grow as high as 6 ft tall and 4 ft wide. Lemongrass has a clumping habit and is easily propagated from division. Prefers full sun. Lemongrass makes a yummy tea and is often used in Asian cuisine. It’s grassy look adds some nice diversity to herb garden.
