Zaatar has notes of thyme, oregano, and marjarum all in one! This is the plant used to make the common Middle Eastern Spice blend which is also called Zaatar. This perennial herb has a growth habit similar to oregano and is easily grown in the ground or in pots. Grows 12-18 inches tall and should be spaced 12 inches apart. Prefers full sun to part shade in well draining soil.
