An easy to grow annual, reaching up to 4 ft tall and 2 ft wide. Ashwagandha prefers full sun and will grow in a wide range of conditions. Drought tolerant but doesn’t mind moist soil. The roots are dug in the fall for tincture or dried and powdered. An excellent adaptogen herb for increased vitality, stress reduction and improved quality of sleep. Ashwagandha is in the nightshade family and grows similar to eggplant.
