This gorgeous annual is the variety of hibiscus that is used for tea. It prefers full sun and well draining soil. Space plants 12” apart. The dried calyces make a delicious tea that is used to lower blood pressure and eases tummy aches. All parts of the plant are edible and the leaves are just as tangy as the calyces. Such a fun plant to have in the garden!
