This perennial might look just like any other weed out there but Wild Lettuce is a highly valued pain reliever. Used as a sedative, pain reliever, and digestive bitter. There really aren’t many other legal-to-grow plants out there with the same kind of analgesic properties as Wild Lettuce. A must have for the herb garden! Flowers up to 5 ft in the second year and should be spaced at least 6 inches apart. Wild lettuce would do well with afternoon shade if you’ve got it. Can also be grown in a pot.
