Skullcap is a self seeding annual, meaning it will die back in the winter but will grow back in the spring from fallen seed. Plants prefer part shade and moist soils. My favorite nervine relaxant for easing stress, anxiety and sleeplessness. Produces sweet little purple bell flowers in the summer. Skullcap is excellent for tea and tincture. Grows to 2 ft.and should be spaced 6”-12” apart. This plant looses potency when dried, so growing it yourself opens the gate to all it’s magic.
