ASTRAGALUS, ASTRAGALUS MEMBRANACEAUS

Perennial in zones 4-10, Astragalus is a deep immune tonic that can grow to 5 feet. Produces sweet little yellow pea shaped flowers. Astragalus is not fussy and will grow with ease. Enjoys full sun with a 12 inch spacing between plants. Harvest the roots in the fall of the 3rd year of growth. Can be made into a tincture, dried for tea or used in soup. An excellent adaptogen for all ages!
