Highly prolific and easy to grow! Ground Cherries are a fun fruit addition to any garden. Will even do well in large containers. These sweet half inch fruits are encased in a papery husk much like a tomatillo. It’s naturally high pectin content make it a great choice for pies and preserves. Give 18 inches between plants. Enjoys full sun. Harvest tip: make sure to check under the plant for dropped ripe fruit. The husks help to keep them clean!
